This glass breath form is inspired by the horseshoe crab: its unique ability to breathe in water and on land, the way its mature shell hosts various flora and fauna, and its resilience in surviving for over 445 million years. The form was created to capture the breath in the glassblowing process and also host various cast objects on the surface. The title is a direct quote from Alexis Pauline Gumbs' book "Undrowned: Black Feminist Lessons from Marine Animals."
